[edit] Chief Peosta, Peosta, Iowa
I read your recent correction/addition to the article about Peosta, Iowa. I did not know that the town of Potosi, Wisconsin was named after settlers from Missouri. I was taught in school that the Chief Peosta/Dubuque/Potosi connection existed. It is quite interesting. Is there any way to confirm this? Any sources? It may be wise to remove the story from the Peosta, Iowa article since, after all, it has more to do with Potosi, Wisconsin, and little or nothing to do with Peosta, Iowa.DBQer 20:46, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

If you want to put them on my talk page, that would be fine. Otherwise I will just make sure that the are in the appropriate areas of the Julien Dubuque & Potosi articles. Thanks for the reply. DBQer 00:31, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
