[edit] Democracy Now

Hello, I saw the images you uploaded for the Democracy Now article page. You should know that they might be removed by an administrator or orphanbot because they might not meet fair use requirements. Please see Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for further reading into policy on images.--Jersey Devil 05:13, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Also, welcome to Wikipedia!--Jersey Devil 05:14, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Please read 3RR with regards to excessive reverts on articles, over 3 may result in a temporary blocking for 24hrs. I also reverted you edits because it did not fit with regular Wikipedia formatting standards not because of content. Bye and happy editting.--Jersey Devil 00:24, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
That rule would apply to yourself, then, no? I have added text to a page, then you have reverted it, and I then un-revert it. It help end the stalemate if you'd discuss what formats are more suitable, otherwise you're engaging in the same behavior. -plaus

[edit] White pages

Please stop changing this page with your spam and remove genuine white pages links that go to some of the best free white pages services on the Internet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Expert3007 (talkcontribs) 20:20, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Can you please explain why you think addresses.com and iaf.net are not white pages link. they are free and provide the best of the breed white pages service. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.104.234.193 (talk) 06:10, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

And get this - all five of the linked USA "white pages" sites are owned by the same company... and they're not all white pages sites, and there are also eight links to pages and sites praising the owner of the five sites, Naveen Jain. Stop spamming Wikipedia. If you want to be part of this discussion, avoid a page lock and reach resolution, log in and stop reverting and posting anonymously.

Thanks for taking the time to discuss the problems in White pages on it's talk page. I notice you even requested page protection to try to stop the edit-warring there. It must be frustrating for you that the protection was denied and that the other editors have yet to contribute to the talk page. However, please remember that WP:3RR still applies. Please avoid reverting in violation of WP:3RR, and instead just continue participating in the discussions. Thanks! --Ronz (talk) 17:10, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] White pages

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article White pages, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Larry_Sinclair_Vid_Still.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Larry_Sinclair_Vid_Still.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 02:30, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
