I have translated the text from the Dutch Wikipedia. There may be still some mistakes (language / grammar, etc), but that is up to native British people. The list of genera that I used here was the original English list. I did not check differences between this and that on the Dutch Wikipedia! Inconsistencies between these may be present. Presently I don't have time to do so. I have the feeling that generally these lists are compiled and/or expanded by people who are not very well informed. It is certainly not impossible that invalid names or taxa that should not considered to be a genus are included! For European data I strongly suggest to use the CLECOM lists as a basis for Wikipedia!

On the Dutch Wikipedia there exist nice templates for references but these don't seem to work here. Therefore, I made a simple list of references here--Tom Meijer 21:35, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
