[edit] devil's golf course

The content in "Places of interest..." is stronger and more complete than the stub article. Either "Devil's Golf Course" should just redirect here (which is what I propose, but I'm not stuck on that solution), or the content here on "Places..." should be used to rewrite the DGC specific article. My sense is that by the time you did that you would still want 90%+ of the content of that article here in "Places...", which is why I suggest the merge. --Joe Decker 07:02, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

The content on Devil's Golf Course in "Places of interest..." is almost entirely copied from the NPS web site. It's not a copyright violation, because US government publications are not copyrighted, but... In any case I've rewritten the Devil's Golf Course article to be a bit more encyclopedic, and to link to a better photo I found on the commons. It's still not much longer than what's here, though, so unless it can be expanded more the only argument I have to offer for not merging is that having a separate article makes it easier to find via Category:Salt pans. —David Eppstein 20:13, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
