Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB: PLGC) is a video game publisher and also publishes other digital entertainment products. The company, established in 2002,[1] publishes for all major interactive entertainment hardware platforms, such as the major video game consoles by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, as well as PC and Handheld game consoles.
Playlogic currently has approximately 75 employees, is listed on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol “PLGC” and is headquartered in Amsterdam. Its internal game development studio is based in Breda (the Netherlands). Various independent studios in several countries develop their games under contract with approximately 300 people of external development staff. In addition, Playlogic provides the license rights of existing titles in its portfolio to other studios who adapt these titles for other platforms.
As a publisher, Playlogic is responsible for publishing, production, sales and marketing of their products. Playlogic sell their products to distributors, who supply retail. Playlogic also sells directly to consumers through online distribution channels.
The company’s principal sources of revenue are derived from publishing operations. Playlogic owns most of the intellectual property they publish.
