Plan de Dieu Côtes du Rhône Villages AOC. Consecrated in 2005 as a Côtes du Rhône Villages (Named Villages) wine. Vineyard was established during the Middle Ages in particular under the influence of the Templar Knights. Chapels, religious communities were established all around the Plan de Dieu. The religious cultivated the vines under the protection of God, and as a sign of God or as a benediction, these wines rapidly developed a certain renown for their quality. Grape variety mix : (AC red only) Black Grenache 50% minimum, Syrah and/or Mourvèdre 20% minimum, other grape varieties authorized in the appellation 20% maximum.
