Plains is the eleventh album of pianist George Winston. It is his first studio album featuring newly compositions in 5 years (note that "Linus and Lucy - The Music of Vince Guaraldi" is a cover album). According to Winston, "this album is inspired by the plains and its people. The four seasons there have always been my deepest source of inspiration.".[1]
