The Plain Squeaker (Schoutedenella xenochirus) is a species of frog in the Arthroleptidae family. It is found in Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, Tanzania, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, plantations , and rural gardens.
