PlaceSpotting

PlaceSpotting is an online game, based on Google Maps. It is a quiz game in which players are shown a satellite photo of a location or structure. Players then zoom in on the Google Maps location they think it can be found until the longitude and latitude match.[1] Each riddle comes with two or three hints.[1]

There are 5400 riddles in the game, with players scoring an approximate 11% success rate.[2]

PlaceSpotting's server is based in Switzerland and has English and German language versions.[1]
