Major Karl Plagge. Posthumously bestowed with "Righteous Among the Nations" honour by Yad Vashem.

This image was given to me by Erika Vogel, Karl Plagge's cousin. He gave it to her in December 1943. She has given me permission to use this photograph in my book, The Search for Major Plagge and to allow it to be published in newspapers and on the internet. -Michael Good
