Hi pj,
On 22 May 2007 on page Ran, you added the line "RAN#x1000 is a pastime used in maths classes in certain schools".
I've since realised this has the same effect as "RAN is a pastime ... ", because there is no "x1000" sub-heading on the RAN page, so it just takes you to the top of the RAN page.
However, I can't find out where this phenomenum is documented.
I'm interested because "Ran# is an Alternative Rock band", but Ran# just takes me to Ran, so I'd like to work out if there's a way to get around this "feature" of WP.
