[edit] POV

This article might not be copyvio, but parts of the text seem to be not quite encyclopedic, nor NPOV. A bit of paraphrasing might be in order. Katr67 21:52, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Most of it is a copy/paste from here. I will try to add some more encyclopedic info. Cacophony 07:04, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
It's looking better already! Thanks! Katr67 07:39, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Georgia/Georgiana -- Rose Festival Founder

Some minor copyediting/factchecking issues:

  1. Mrs. Pittock is identified as Georgia in the intro, and later as Georgiana. Perhaps both are correct (one a short version of the other), but it is confusing, and should be clarified or made consistent.
  2. My understanding is that the Rose Festival was a community effort involving more than a single founder. In any case, her role in its foundation, if included at all, should be clarified and referenced. -- "J-M" (Jgilhousen) 08:54, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
