The Pitch f/x is a new system used to locate and determine the speed of thrown objects. This system, which made a debute in 2006, is to be installed in all major-leage parks.[1]

The Pitch f/x is used to determine the speed of a thrown baseball exactly at the time it is released, as well as locate it's movements to the nearest inch. With the Pitch f/x, statistics such as the person with the fastest throw, or the person with the sharpest curve etc...
