Noone has yet (that I can see) made any discussion of the other ways engines can differ - number of valves being the particular example I was thinking of. e.g. 12v, or 16v obviously being different to V12/V16 engine type/cylinder count. Don't have time to write an article on this I'm afraid, may consider it but I suggest anyone with time does so.
