The translation for the guy I think you are talking about is Simon the Righteous (the word is Tzadik). Is he known as Simon the Just? PeanutALK 07:31, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Shimon ha-Tzaddik is often referred to as "Simon the Just". JFW | T@lk 10:56, 17 March 2006 (UTC)

Tzadik (or Tsadik) can be translated as either Righteous or Just. Also Pious, Saintly, etc. Tzedek (Tsedek) or Tsedaka is "Righteousness" or "Justice." Tsedaka is also "Charity," in the sense of "Almsgiving." Erudil 16:18, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
