Pioneer RT-909

The Pioneer RT-909 was one of Pioneer's last open reel machines and was manufactured from sometime in the late 1970s into the early 1980s. It is closely related to the RT-901 model, except the RT-909 has both forward and reverse playback. ^[1] It was one of Pioneer's high end models and had a digital display, which was unusual for the time.
