[edit] Pinoy Big Brother article

Please, do not change Niña's surname in the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition article; Atienza is the official surname given! - 上村七美 23:29, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Don't change Brenda's surname either. - 上村七美 | talk 10:22, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, but her full name was never mentioned in the official website. So don't change it. - 上村七美 | talk 10:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Category:People of the Philippines

Do not populate the category with articles about persons. It should be about the ethnic groups in the Philippines. Individual people should go to the subcategories. Thanks. --Howard the Duck | talk, 06:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:ArwindSantos.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:ArwindSantos.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Kakarugkarug

Hey there, Thanks for your note. I'm not an administrator, so I can't really block someone...but if you want to know more about the procedure concerning vandalism I suggest you start here. I think too much time has gone by to block that user based on my previous warning, but you certainly can leave a new warning on her/his user talk page with one of the templates that's discussed on the page I mentioned above.

Also, you should always sign your comments on other people's talk pages with four tildes ~~~~ which automatically puts in your user name and the date and time. That way people don't need to dig in the history to find out who left them a comment.  :: Salvo (talk) 05:01, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CfD nomination for Category:American-Filipinos

Hello. I am informing you of the motion to delete the above-specified category, since I noticed you created it. You may take part in the discussion concerning it at Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2006_December_13#Category:American-Filipinos. Thanks. —Lagalag 13:37, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi. I can appreciate your perspective, having inferred from your response that you live in the Philippines and as such may be very much aware of how things are on the ground. However, please know that it was Chris S. who initiated the motion, for reasons he has specified on the CfD page, and not I. I only thought it proper to inform you, being the creator of the category. Best regards. —Lagalag 12:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
You can reach him through the link I gave above. Stated in that page also are the arguments for and against retaining the category. —Lagalag 18:32, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] sortkeys

hi, re José María Sison there's no need to add sortkeys to each category because {{DEFAULTSORT:}} adds the same key to all of them. you only need to add one to the category if you want it to use another key. ben  ⇒ bsnowball  09:50, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Tagalog Wikipedia is campaigning for your participation in writing, editing, assessing and translating articles!
The purpose of this campaign is to expand and improve articles at Tagalog Wikipedia. Your participation will be highly appreciated by the community.

There are over 16,000 articles to view, read, review, edit, and expand, so please visit the Wikipedia Café and the WikiProject Philippines at Tagalog Wikipedia to help out!

The campaign includes seeking your assistance in:

Or just anything you can do to help us just like what you are doing there at the English Wikipedia.

Thank you in advance and regards, Tagalog Wikipedia Community

Finally, Wikipedia is the 7th most visited site in the Philippines. Then why is it that the Tagalog Wikipedia, the Wikipedia in your own language remains unknown to most of the Filipinos? The mission of this campaign is to change that. Will you join us?
