Pine Rockland linking is important to its survival. Because of the way the rocklads are scattered right now, it would be very inconvenient to set fire to them, because you’d have to set fire to several different locations, instead of starting at one point and letting nature take its course. Pine Rockland linking makes taking care of pine rocklands easier, and reduces travel time and simplifies the organization of it. Linking also allows all the rocklands to be together, and safe from non-natural species. They will be able to grow together. It will reduce accidental burning of plants that would not benefit in any way from being set on fire, and will simplify the process of keeping track of their current status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.180.117.148 (talk) 20:28, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
