Pin Point is an unincorporated community in Chatham County, Georgia, in the United States; it is located 18 km (11 miles) from Savannah, Georgia, at .
The town is best known as the birthplace of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (the sign announcing the town says as much).[1]
A rural settlement founded by freed slaves after the American Civil War, Pin Point is 1.6 km (1 mile) wide and 2.5 km (a mile and a half) long, and has been accessible by paved roads for some years.
Pinpoint is a small predominantly African American community. It is continuously growing and developing today.
