Pimento loaf
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pimiento Loaf, also commonly spelled Pimento Loaf, or called Pickle and Pimiento Loaf, is a bologna type luncheon meat containing finely chopped beef and pork, as well as chopped pickles and pimientos. After being formed into a loaf and cooked, the loaf is kept whole so it can be sliced and served cold as deli meat. Its popularity has waned in recent decades and is not as readily available in your local supermarket deli.[citation needed] Some meat companies make pimiento loaf with chicken.
