Pim Koopman

Pim Koopman (born in 11 March 1953, Hilversum) is the drummer and percussionist of the Dutch Progressive Rock band Kayak. He co-founded the band along with Ton Scherpenzeel, Johan Slager and Max Werner in 1972. Pim Koopman left the band in 1976 because of health problems and issues with their manager. He returned for the reunion in 1999, and has been playing drums in Kayak again until the present day. [1].

Pim has also been the member of two other bands: Diesel in 1979 and The President in 1983.
