Desert

Hi,

Regards desert, the geographic term is the correct meaning for the page, thus. I've reverted to the appropriate version. WLU (talk) 14:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

You're right, sorry. Pill (talk) 15:00, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

external link checker tool

Hi dispenser,

tools:~dispenser/cgi-bin/linkchecker.py only works for Wikipedias, as far as I can see, is that correct? Pill (talk) 13:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes and no. linkchecker.py is a rendering engine for files that are outputted by the pywikipedia program checklinks.py. This program includes with support for many wikis. However, webchecklinks.py uses the webpywikipedia framework which is a minimalist implementation of pywikipedia. The interwiki shortcut prefixes are partially implemented and until they're fully implemented you append &hostname= to the URL on webchecklinks.py. — Dispenser 20:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your response. Pill (talk) 18:40, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

external link checker tool

My tools now supports the wikimedia family of interwiki links. You can input URLs and it will convert it to the proper syntax. — Dispenser 20:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
