Cyclone Nargis's death toll soared to 77,738 with 55,917 missing. It has risen by 34,420. The number of missing people have increased more than double. At first, it was 27,838. Now it's 55,917, 241 more than double that number. Yes, you can help; by donating!

Halong is expected to strengthen briefly to typhoon as forecast by the JTWC. But JMA issues forecasts out to 48 hr, and they forecas 55 kt. I will not put the advisory up, as you can find it here.
