If most pilots are not pilot officers and most pilot officers are not pilots, what is the reasoning behind the title "pilot officer"? Mesoso 19:42, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

The article mentions "Mr. Vice", with no explanation as to who this is or what the role does. Could someone clarify or remove the reference? Lamuella (talk) 23:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
