Does it exist in english any difference between column and pillar? I came here because there a lot of confuzion of interwikis between Pilaster, which is false friend in many languages because it means pillar

But definitely pillar is not a column in italian or german or french... column has a round section, pillar a squared or other ways shaped section. --Sailko 13:38, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
