Pilot Magazine UK

Pilot Magazine (UK) is a monthly general aviation magazine based in the UK, which outclasses all other British general aviation magazines in terms of reader base and number of awards won.[1] The editor, Nick Bloom, is an ex-market researcher, author, and was British Advanced Aerobatic Champion in 1990 (Pitts Special) and Intermediate Champion in 1997 (Stampe).[2] The magazine also operates PilotWeb, on which there is news, overviews of the magazine, fora and information for beginners in aviation.[3] The magazine is a part of Archant Specialist, from Archant Publishing.[4]

The magazine typically contains a news section, a number of flight tests and buyers guides, a section detailing what is involved in various different flying activities, an 'adventure flying' section, an engineering section, and a historic aircraft news section.[5]
