Pike Creek is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The population was 19,751 at the 2000 census.

Pike Creek is located at (39.735119, -75.696896)[1].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.1 square miles (15.9 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 19,751 people, 8,201 households, and 5,166 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 3,220.8 people per square mile (1,244.0/km²). There were 8,415 housing units at an average density of 1,372.2/sq mi (530.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 88.30% White, 4.09% African American, 0.17% Native American, 5.58% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.63% from other races, and 1.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.59% of the population.
There were 8,201 households out of which 30.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.2% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.0% were non-families. 29.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 2.98.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 22.9% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 35.0% from 25 to 44, 24.6% from 45 to 64, and 9.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females there were 91.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.7 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $71,655, and the median income for a family was $84,076. Males had a median income of $56,476 versus $40,273 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $32,939. About 0.9% of families and 1.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 1.2% of those under age 18 and 3.9% of those age 65 or over.
