[edit] Ferret Love Page deletion
An admin has already deleted the page. Don't worry about it - the closing admin judged it as vandalism too. ColourBurst 04:31, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- If the article is pure vandalism (I didn't get to see the page but I'm guessing it was), then you can tag it with {{db-vandalism}}. There are other criteria for speedy deletion visible here: WP:CSD. This skips the article for deletion process and makes deletion much faster, however the article needs to meet the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. See you round. James086 Talk | Contribs 05:37, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it, the admin will have a look at the page and if it isn't tagged right, they just won't delete it, no harm done. My first article for deletion nomination was pretty bad, the result was speedy keep, but I got over it. See you round. James086 Talk | Contribs 05:45, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit
Umm... why is your page listed on Category:Wikipedia articles needing copy edit? Rintrah 14:02, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't have the faintest idea. I don't see the code for that anywhere on this page. Since I've been doing some work in copy-editing, perhaps I inadvertently submitted my user page to it? But that doesn't explain why the category is at the bottom of this user page. Hmm. I'm looking into it. --Pigman (talk • contribs) 18:16, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

- What's even weirder, is I'm looking at the code right now, and I can't find anything here on your page that would make that category appear. So it has to have happened elsewhere. --Kathryn NicDhàna ♫♦♫ 20:02, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

I forgot to mention, The League of Copyeditors is a new project looking for new members. You have copyediting experience, so you are welcome to join. Rintrah 01:03, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- Welcome to the group! Anyone who can copyedit is more than welcome, now get to work or feel the wrath of my bullwhip!
-
- Seriously, I'm glad to have you on board and reading over some of your past copyedits, you are going to be an awesome addition to the group. If Rintrah earned a dollar for every new member he recruited into our fold, he's have enough money to... um... buy a supersized double quarter pounder value meal - Which is still a great accomplishment. It's nice to have you. Trusilver 01:51, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your VandalProof Application
Dear Paul Pigman,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof.
Prodego talk 20:07, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, VandalProof is a very powerful tool, which is why we have use a minimum editcount limit to ensure it doesn't get abused by vandals. I like the new 1.3 version very much; it, unlike the older versions, is very stable. Just let me know when you have reached the 250 article edits needed for approval, and I will add you to the list. Until then, happy editing! Prodego talk 20:25, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
