[edit] Welcome to my simple and humble home page!
I'm a Bioinformatician, but I'm not going to talk much about myself right now. Since I believe you can tell a lot about a person by the kind of books he (or she) reads, then I'll simply give you a list of my favorite reading material.
Magazines:
Wired, Scientific American, The Economist.
Newspapers:
The New York Times, The Washington Post, Le Devoir.
Books (non fiction):
| The Red Queen (by Matt Ridley) | The Mind's I | Guns, Germs and Steel | A Brief History of Time | Genome (by Matt Ridley) | There Are Two Errors In The The Title Of This Book |
| 9-11 (by Noam Chomsky) | The Bush Dyslexicon | Godel, Escher, Bach | Innumeracy | Krakatoa | QED |
Books (fiction):
| Pride And Prejudice | Matilda | The Cyberiad | The Last Unicorn | The 13 Clocks | Everything by Tolkien |
Well. It's a start. I read a great deal more, of course, but I think that should give you a good idea of the kind of person I am. Oh, I like good beer, too.
