Talk:Pierre Berton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is also a 19th century French playwright by this name ([1], [2]). Any suggestion on how to sort out the disambiguation? I'm guessing the Canadian Pierre Berton is the more famous, so we should create a Pierre Berton (disambiguation) page, link to it here, and leave the current article where it is. -- Jmabel | Talk 01:48, Feb 28, 2005 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable to me. Something like the header of the Micheal Jackson page would be appropriate. PullUpYourSocks 19:29, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
[edit] innaccuracies in many books
It should be mentioned that many of the figures he cites in some of his books (Marching as to War and Vimy come to mind) are not the same as other major historians. Just thought I'd point it out.

[edit] quote query
Berton said something to the effect of: Toronto does the least with the most, while Regina does the most with the least. I included this in the Saskatchewan in popular culture article but have not been able to find an appropriate source. Does anyone know from where this quote comes? Mumun 無文 16:47, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
