Pierre Marchand (born 1958 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a songwriter Canadian musician and record producer.
He is probably best known for his work with Sarah McLachlan. produced all of her albums since Solace (1991) . Also cowrote: Building a Mystery, Adia, into the fire, fumbling towards ecstasy, and many more. He has also worked with many other singer-songwriters, including Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Rufus Wainwright, Ron Sexsmith, Leigh Nash, Stevie Nicks, Daniel Lanois, The Devlins, Greg Keelor, Patty Larkin and Lhasa de Sela. Scored for film and theater. Awarded Juno awards and for songwriting and producing, and a felix for producer of the year.
Pierre now lives in Montreal
