This is a photo of a burnt tree at Yellowstone NP. I think this would be a good photo to display.

  • I seriously doubt that it would make it. It's not in an article, which is a requirement for FPs. Also, it's interesting, but not very encyclopedic (you can't see the texture of the tree, and the image and the caption don't give you any idea why it's burnt). --Pharaoh Hound (talk) 12:31, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

  • I really like this picture. In my opinion, it's encyclopedic, high quality, and pleasing to the eye. Others might disagree but I would definetly give it a try on the FPC page.Imaninjapirate 02:35, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
