Pickering Town Centre is a large regional shopping mall located in Pickering, Ontario. The mall was opened in 1972 as the Sheridan Mall, and opened with 80 stores. Now the PTC has more than 200 stores. The PTC underwent major renovations in 1998. It is anchored/majored by The Bay, Sears, Zellers, a Famous Players cinema, Sports Check, and H&M.

The PTC is undergoing a $17 million renovation through 2008 and 2009.[1] This will include new floors, ceilings, lighting and seating areas. It will have a modern look and will feature an additional elevator. The PTC hopes to attract new stores in the future, such as Hollister, Lululemon and Abercrombie & Fitch.[citation needed] The renovation will be completed in early 2009.
