Why is phytochemistry a botany stub ? This subject is researched in many scientific branches: Biology, Botany, Chemistry... When you pair Botany and chemistry together, You get ... Phytochemistry ?? No. You get "Bothestry!!"  :) (mind my joke, the question stands.. why is this a botany stub ?)

Because phytochemistry is not half botany and half chemistry. The field has obvious relevance to botany and those who practice it, but it is primarily a chemical discipline. If you feel like removing the category, go ahead, but I don't really think it's misleading. Mihovil 18:40, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
If anything more stub categories should be added, or a phytochemistry stub template could even be created.--Eloil 09:31, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
