Phusro is a city and a notified area in Bokaro district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

As of 2001 India census[1], Phusro had a population of 83,463. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Phusro has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 52%. In Phusro, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
