Phrynops is a genus of turtle in the Chelidae family. It contains the following species:
- Dahl's Toad-headed Turtle (Phrynops dahli)
- Hoge's Sideneck Turtle (Phrynops hogei)
- Red Side-necked Turtle (Phrynops rufipes)
- Vanderhaege's Toad-headed Turtle (Phrynops vanderhaegei)
- Zulia Toad Headed Sideneck (Phrynops zuliae)
