[edit] Which evolved first?

There is a conflict in some of the sources:

Photosystem II (so numbered because, while it was most likely the first to evolve, it was the second one discovered).
Photosystem I evolved very early; photosystem II evolved later.

Any idea which oorrect? Looks like PSI evolved prior to PSII. --Michael C. Price talk 20:37, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
