Phosphorix

Phosphorix is a small UK-based open source software company founded in 2001.[1]
Phosphorix is an Exeter-based software development company with extensive experience in web-based software. Keen advocates of Open Standards, Rapid Application Development and eXtreme Programming, Phosphorix have made significant contributions to educational and 'not for profit' organisations with the launch and release of a range of interoperability middleware solutions known as ioNode servers and systems.
It has been recognized by JISC CETIS for its contributions to the SHELL Project.[2] The University of Plymouth has a paid graduate business partnership with Phosphorix.[3]
Phosphorix also contributed to the XCRI project which developed a schema for course related information.[4]
Phoposhrix has been involved in a number of JISC funded projects. The Group Calendar Web Service project is described in an interview on the e-Learning Focus web site[5].
