Phon Rau

A Phon Rua is the senior most Naval Officer of Thailand and is the equivalent to a Fleet Admiral. The shoulder boards of a Phon Rua are similar in design to those of a United States Fleet Admiral.

The rank of Phon Rua may also be held ceremonially by members of the Thai Royal Family. The Thai Army equivalent of the rank is known as Chom Phon.
