The telepath crisis ends in tragedy.

- Garibaldi begins drinking again. This will lead to serious problems later in the series, both for him and others.
- Byron dies, leaving Lyta to carry on the cause for telepaths.
- Reveals the hostage situation that was previewed in season 4's The Deconstruction of Falling Stars.
