[edit] Arawaks
The sentance you added
The Spanish also murdered the Arawaks in countless massacres, when they could derive no more benefit from them.
while probably not inaccurate, is in language that it too POV (non-neutral point of view). The language is too loaded for an encyclopedia. The second part especially {when they could derive no more benefit from them) is a rather strong assertion and I would prefer if you could back it up with a reference; as I recall, the massacres of Arawaks by the Spanish were not related to a lack of further "benefit" to be had. In fact, there was a constant labour shortage, which was alleviated by kidnapping so-called "Caribs". Please support the statement, or change it into more neutral language. [edit] Glen J. Miles
Hi. I noticed your article at Glen J. Miles. While it's great that you're taking the time and effort to contribute to Wikipedia, this is an encyclopedia, and as such we try to only include content that is notable to the general public. Looking here at the guidelines for people-related articles, I'm not sure that your article fits the descripton. Let me know if you agree. --Alex S 04:24, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
