Phillip Tsunoda

Phillip B. Tsunoda (born December 23, 1964) is a city councilmember in Aliso Viejo, California. He was appointed to fill the remainder of the term for former Mayor Cynthia Adams, who stepped down May 13 due to care for her husband after his lung transplant treatments. The term will expire in December 2010.

Tsunoda serves as Special Assistant to Orange County Supervisor Chris Norby. Prior to that, Tsunoda served as external affairs director for the Orange County Clerk-Recorder Tom Daly, a former Mayor of Anaheim.

He is married and has a few kids.
