Philipp Grimm

Philipp Grimm (died 1796) was a German lawyer and father to the Brothers Grimm and seven other children. He was husband of Dorothea Grimm. Some modern day psychologists say that his death influenced the often excused and idealized fathers in Grimm fairytales^[who?].
