Philip Shahbaz is an American actor who is known as the voice of Altaïr in the Ubisoft videogame Assassin's Creed[1].
Philip Michael Shahbaz is born (16 October 1976) in Los Angeles, CA. His mother is an Arab and his father is an Iranian American. He gained fame for voicing Altaïr in the Assassin's Creed. He studied 6 years in drama classes. He studied 3 years playing as an actor and 3 years for voicing characters. In the opening day of Assassin's Creed he said "voicing Altaïr isn't an easy job and I give whatever I can so he look and heard so realistic." He now lives in New York with his brother Daniel Michael Shahbaz.
The name Shahbaz is of Iranian/Persian Origin. Shahbaz is an Iranian Eagle ( Shah=King, Baz=Open Wings) living in the famous mountains of Iran. Persians used this bird specially for moving important news and letters throughout the empire.
