Philip Abbott (Mar 21, 1923, Lincoln, Nebraska - Feb 23, 1998, Tarzana, California) was an American character actor.

Abbott was a secondary lead in several films of the 1950s and 1960s. He made more than 100 guest appearances on various TV shows from 1952-1995. He is probably best remembered as Assistant Director Arthur Ward on the TV series The F.B.I. Abbott died in 1998 from cancer.
