Phil Sayer

Phil Sayer (born c1953) is a British professional voice artist. Since 2003, he has been one half of the Sayer Hamilton voice studio, in partnership with his wife, Elinor Hamilton.

His voice is famously heard at many British rail stations, notably Birmingham New Street the Southern Trains network, and a lot of stations throughout West Yorkshire, providing automated announcements of train arrivals, departures and cancellations or delays.

Meanwhile, Elinor Hamilton can be heard doing the same job on several stations on the London Underground system's Northern, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines.

The couple also provide voices for radio and television commercials and corporate productions.

Phil and Elinor have twin sons.
