Phil Keith-Roach

Phil Keith-Roach was the Rugby Union scrum coach to the England 2003 Rugby World Cup side.
Keith-Roach was a three time Cambridge Blue playing as a hooker. Subsequently he went on to become the captain of Rosslyn Park Rugby Football Club for over ten years. He was also a teacher at Dulwich College.
After his teaching career ended he became the first full time professional scrum coach in England firstly at Wasps, and then with England. He remained as England scrum coach after Sir Clive Woodward left the England setup but left when Andy Robinson was dismissed.
Before going to Cambridge, he taught at Trinity School of John Whitgift which subsequently produced George Chuter a current England hooker.
