Description
English: Demyelinization of the posterior columns of the spinal cord known as ”Tabes Dorsalis”, or Tabetic Neurosyphilis. This image shows severe demyelinization of the posterior columns of the spinal cord due to long-standing syphilis disease. This can result in a staggering, wide-based gait, postural instability, pain and paresthesias; Myelin stain; magnification 450X.
