Cross section of a PHEMT.
This is basically hand traced in Inkscape by User:Alan De Smet from Image:PHEMT cross section.png by User:Tim Starling. Starling documents the original as "based on a diagram in The RF and Microwave Circuit Design Cookbook by Stephen Maas. The shape of the T gate is a bit closer to the actual shape than Maas' diagram was."
Starling licensed his work under the GFDL. I license my derivative work under the same license.
