[edit] Why is PhD a disambiguation page?

I don't see the point in making PhD a disambiguation page. The other "PhD" is obscure and doesn't even have an article written on it, yet. Now, all the links will lead here instead of the Doctor of Philosophy article, which is by far the most common meaning. If it is necessary, I suggest adding a note to the Doctor of Philosophy article instead. -- Kjkolb 10:07, August 30, 2005 (UTC)
